A Novel Approach to Prevention of Hello Flood Attack in IoT Using Machine Learning Algorithm

With the developments in information technologies, every area of our lives, from shopping to education, health entertainment, has transitioned cyber environment, defined as digital environment. In particular, concept Internet Things (IoT) emerged process spreading internet and idea controlling managing device based on IP. The fact that IoT devices are interconnected with limited resources causes users become vulnerable internal external attacks threaten their security. this study, a Flood attack, which is an important attack type against networks, discussed. Within scope analysis first all, effect flood system been examined. Subsequently, it focused detecting at-tack through K-means algorithm, machine learning algorithm. results have shown attacking mote where carried out successfully detected. way, similar will be detected soon possible, saved most damage activated possible.
